The course in short
The language of instruction is English. The course is offered during the second part of the spring semester.
The theoretical parts of the course are treated both in lectures and in group exercises in the form of literature seminars. The first weeks provide a general introduction to the immune system. Here the basic concepts and principles are introduced and will prepare you for the rest of the course. This second part of the course is divided into several themes, each partnered with a literature seminar to develop a deeper understanding of the topic. Training in flow cytometric analysis will be given through a computer lab and associated lecture.
