The Editor

The text editor is used for discussions and assignments. Down below is a description of the most important features:

1. Text format settings.

2. Insert web link.

3. Insert image. By clicking on the icon you can upload an image from your computer. If you click on the arrow you can also choose User images where you can select an image from your file library in Canvas instead.

4. Insert document. By clicking on the icon you can upload a document from your computer. If you click on the arrow you can also choose User documents where you can select a document from your file library in Canvas instead.

5. Opens Studio to insert pre-recorded material or to record and upload new material.

6. Gives you access to external apps such as Microsoft Teams or Youtube.

7. Embed code. For example you can embed a clip from Youtube by doing the following:

A. Click Share under the Youtube clip.

  

B. Choose Embed and copy the embed code.

  

C. Click on the cloud i Canvas and and paste the code. Done!
