Canvas Menu

The Canvas menu is located on the  far left side of the page. From this menu you can find several useful functions and settings for Canvas that are not course specific.

1. Account

Account is the tab with your profile picture that you can find at the top of the menu. From here you can quickly change several settings such as notification settings and your profile settings.

2. Dashboard

The dashboard provides an overview of your courses. Here you can also find your "To-do-list", upcoming events and your latest feedback.

3. Courses

The courses tab is used to switch between courses. To view all of your courses simply select the "all courses" option at the bottom of the course list. Learn more about how to navigate between courses.

4. Groups

See which groups you are in and go directly to your different group pages. 

5. Calander

This tab gives you quick access to your calendar. Here you can view the calendar for all your courses, groups and own events in one place.

6. Inbox

The inbox tab is the universal communication tool in Canvas and is independent from your courses.

7. Studio 

Canvas' recording tool Studio lets you create your own videos by recording from a camera or a screen capture.

8. Help

Here you can find different resources connected to Canvas (such as student support) and also ask questions regarding Canvas.
