Calendar
The calendar shows all the events that are linked to your different courses as well as events that you choose to input yourself.
Navigating the Calendar
-
This is the calendar overview (1), it gives you an overview of all the activities in your calendar. The activities are colour-coded according to different calendars, each course has its own colour code shown in the menu on the right (3). You can choose if you want to see upcoming tasks for your entire calendar at the same time, or check the calendar only for tasks in specific courses. You can see which calendar events are downloaded from the course schedule in TimeEdit, these are marked with [TE]. Other calendar events show activities in Canvas and are visible without this selection (6).
-
The navigation bar (2) allows you to adjust the layout of your calendar and change the view, you can choose whether to display the calendar by week, month or by agenda
-
In the calendar menu (3) you get an overview of your calendar and see the list of courses from which the calendar is based. Here you can browse between different months and decide which tasks, from which courses, events and groups, should be visible on your calendar.
- Calendar feed (4) is a feature for subscribing to calendars, see more below.
Adding to your Calendar
You can add your own events to the calendar by pressing the '+' in the navigation bar (2). You can also add an event by clicking on a date in the calendar view (1). Note that events you add yourself are only visible in your own calendar.
