Finding Settings

To access your settings, click on 'Account' in the Canvas menu and then select 'Settings'.

Adding a Profile Picture

Click on the icon (1) to either upload a picture, take a picture or use an avatar.

Adding an Email and Mobile Number

In the right hand menu you will find a 'Contact Details' section (2) where you can upload your email address and mobile phone number to receive notifications from Canvas. Please note that your primary email will be retrieved from LADOK and you can only change this setting from your LADOK account. From Canvas, it is only possible to upload additional modes of contact.

Changing the Language

To change the language of your account, first click on 'Edit Settings' in the right hand menu (4) and then click on 'Language' (3).

Downloading Submissions and Course Content

Go to the right hand menu (4) to download you course content. Downloading your course content means that it will be available for you to access even when you are offline. 

Changing the Time Zone

To do this, go to the right hand menu (4) and click on 'Edit settings'. Then you can click on 'Time Zone' (5) to change it.

Additional Profile Settings

You can find some additional profile settings under the "Accessibility features" option.

'High Contrast UI' - improves the colour contrast of your display.  

'Underline Links' - marks an underline under all of the hyperlinks within your Canvas site, making them easier to find.
