Kursöversikt

The course is given twice a year, in LP2 (November - December) and LP4 (March - May), with different topics for projects each time. Usually the Fall issue covers compilers, programming languages, language technology and autonomous systems, while Spring issue focuses on AI (including ML, language technology and autonomous systems) and its applications in various domains.

However, other topics are also possible, provided there are available supervisors.

The course plan can be found here (in Swedish) and here (in English).

Academic year 2025/2026

In the academic year 2025/2026 we will offer projects in the areas listed below.

2026 - lp4 (Mar-May 2026)

  • Artificial intelligence (including robot learning, machine learning, language technology) : multiple supervisors, all should be available during intro session 10-12 on Tuesday 24/3 in E:2116: Eren Aksoy (mail, topic1, topic2), Axel Corver (mail), Hashim Ismail and Jialong Li (mail, slides), Volker Krueger (mail), Pierre Nugues (mail, slides), Stefan Reitmann (mail), Davide Tateo (mail, project proposals), Xuan-Son Vu (mail).
  • Prerequisites: some AI (EDAP01) or ML (EDAN96 or equivalent) or Language technology (EDAN20) course. We assume good programming knowledge as well.
  • Maybe more, please check later...

Questions should be directed to Eren Aksoy and Jacek Malec.

2025 - lp2 (Nov-Dec 2025)

If you signed up for the course, you need to contact the relevant supervisor (see below) by Oct 23, so they can check your prerequisites and plan for a suitable number of projects in their area. (If you are interested in more than one of the areas, it is fine to contact more than one supervisor.)
