Project description

Practically oriented and interested in design and execution of physical experiments? I encourage you to reach out.

Typically, experiment design involves planning and calculating both setup requirements and expected outcomes, blending computational work with hands-on experimentation.

Suggested topics revolve around experiments planned at the department of Energy Sciences and include:

  • Computations of the behaviour of the Lund high pressure facility combined with gas dynamic experiments in our labs
  • Free convection heat transfer experiment and computations
  • Other transient thermal problems

The computational software package Simscape (Matlab) is strongly suggested.

A background in engineering with a focus on fluid flow, heat transfer, or chemistry is required. Some experience of experimental work is beneficial.
