Recognizing and developing the teacher part of your academic identity
In the previous section, we dealt with academic identity in general. In this section we’ll move on to talk about the importance to identify with the teacher part of it, and to continuously develop this part of your academic identity; your academic teacher identity.
We’ll look at how some scholars have tried to articulate patterns of how many academic teachers develop, which might be of help for you to recognize and understand your own developing process.
