GLuFS - Physics Student Council

Who are we?

GLuFS, or "Glada Lundafysikers Studieråd" meaning "The Study Council of the Happy Physicists of Lund", is the voice for physics students within LUNA. We represent all students enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s programs in physics at the Faculty of Science, as well as those taking free-standing physics courses.

The Chairpeople for the academic year 2024/2025 are Kacper Opas and Elias Kamleitner.

What do we do?

GLuFS works to share students' views and experiences with the student union and faculty. We also aim to create a lively social environment through events like sittings and study nights. Our goal is to provide a well-rounded and enjoyable university experience for all our students.

Examples of our activities include:

  • study nights (with free pizza!)
  • meetings with the Department to represent students' opinions
  • events and parties, such as Halloween costume parties, Secret Santa, and barbecues
  • free fika every Tuesday at 12:00

To stay updated on all our activities, join our Canvas page, check out our Facebook page or follow us on Instagram.
