Examination

The examination for MATB21 consists of two parts:

  • Project , 1.5 credits

  • Written examination, 6 credits. The written examination consists of 6 problems, each graded on a scale of 0-5 points, regardless of difficulty level. To pass the written examination, you need to obtain at least 15 of 30 possible points.

The examination for ÄMAD02, Analysis in Several Variables 1 consists only of the written examination.

Grading

The grading scale for both the written examination and the project is Fail/Pass. The grading scale of the course is Fail/Pass/Pass with distinction. To obtain the grade Pass with Distinction it is required that you obtain at least 75% of the points on the written examination and complete the project in a satisfactory manner.

Written Examination

Ordinary written examinations and resit examinations at Mathematics Science Faculty are anonymised. This requires that students sign up for upcoming written examinations via the Student Portal. The registration opens three weeks before and closes one week before the examination. More information can be found on the Department´s webpage.

Scheduled Written Examinations

  • Ordinary written examination: has taken place on Monday 23 March, 08:00-13:00, in MA 9 A-D (Mathematics Annex Building)
  • Resit written examination: Saturday 4 April at 08:00-13:00, in MH 309 A, B, C,  Mathematics Building.
  • Extra resit written examination: Friday 14 August at 08:00-13:00, in MH 309 A, B, C,  Mathematics Building.
