Communication
Information and news
As a complement to in-person communication, we will use Canvas to stay in touch. News and information relevant to all students will be posted as Canvas announcements. For asking questions and discussing topics with broad relevance, we will use Piazza. For questions specific to an individual or project group, we will use Canvas messages. You will find links to all these functions in the menu to the left. They are labeled Announcements, Discussions, and Inbox. The labs are run on physical devices, that cannot be accessed by more than one person at a time. Since they are remote this year, we will use Teams to keep track of which devices are available. More info on that is found on the Lab 0 page.
Feedback
We appreciate all feedback (pun intended) that can result in improvements to the course. Here is how you can provide feedback:
- Contact us! We are happy to hear what you believe could be improved, and how. It is also good to know if you think something works well as it is and should not be changed. You can contact any of the teaching personnel. If you prefer to communicate feedback anonymously, communicate with one of the student representatives.
- Complete the CEQ evaluation. It is anonymous and you will be sent a link automatically toward the end of the course.
- Use the Piazza forum.
