Optoelectronics and Optical Communications (FYST50/FFFN25/FFFN25F)
Welcome to the Canvas information page for the course
Optoelectronics and Optical Communications, 7.5 credits
given by the Department of Physics.
Please note: This page contains only general information about the course. It does not contain any course material. If you are a student on the course you have to log in to the Canvas portal in the site navigation to find the courses of your programme.
Contents
The course will provide a platform both for the selection of suitable devices for various applications in optoelectronics and optical communication and for the development of next generation devices. To achieve this, the course will emphasise the underlying physics as well as how performance is affected by device design and materials properties.
The course consists of two modules:
- Exam, 6.5 credits
- Laboratory wxercises, 1 credit
