Contents

The course should give you an ability to perform calculations and derivations using a modern quantum mechanical formalism, especially in vector spaces with continuous eigenvalue spectra. You should also achieve an improved ability to assimilate the contents of research articles in modern physics and be able to apply the formalism on concrete physical problems.

FYSA31 Physics 3: Modern Physics, 30 ECTS, and FYSN17 Physics: Quantum Mechanics, 7,5 ECTS, or equivalent. English 6/English Course B.
