Detailed information

The course starts at September, 6 and continues during two periods with the last exercise at November 25. The course gives 6 or 7.5 points (depending of the chosen program). Graduate students can also study extra chapters (chosen individually) after exam if they want to get 7.5 points. The LTH students also have a possibility to extra 3 points with the help of the project in Matrix Theory.

The content:

Chapters 1--10, 11--15 and two mini-projects, which are mandatory and should be presented not later than 6/11 correspondingly 30/11. Those whose projects were accepted have a take-home exam 6-16 December or 4-14 January. If they pass it as well they will have an oral part of exam later. The re-exam is in August.

The lectures videos (3-4 for each lecture)  will be on the corresponding page at least three days before the lecture time and can be downloaded. On the lecture time we do not repeat the lecture but only answer studets questions and sometimes discuss some important moments.
