Compulsory computer exercise 1. Getting started with linear regression and R

Instructions:

  •  lab1_vt21.pdf
  • Perform the tasks while answering the questions in the Mozquizto tests Lab1.A+B+C at quizms.maths.lth.se. Login using CAS and your StiL-account (same as you use for Canvas). Which data set you should use is determined by the Mozquizto tests. You can do the tests as many times as you like. You will get the same data each time.
  • Pass the tests in Mozquizto and submit the R-code here.

Data: See the Mozquizto test for which data set you should use:

  • Pb_Jamtland.rda
  • Pb_Norrbotten.rda
  • Pb_Vasternorrland.rda
  • Pb_VastraGotaland.rda

See also General R help and the R-examples on Lecture 1 - 7: Linear regression and the Discussion topic: Lab1 - general help.

You must do the tests and submit the code individually but cooperation and discussion is strongly encouraged!

Deadline: 12.00 on Monday 29 March. Your code does not have to be correct, just show that you have made an honest effort.  Use the button "Submit Assignment" in the top right corner. The correct solution will made available at 12.30!
