Information about requirements and the application process

Application takes place online at a national website called University Admissions (Links to an external site.). Here you will find information about different courses and programmes in Sweden, along with application and admission procedures. Admission to our Master’s programme occurs once per year. Information about key dates and deadlines are available at University Admissions (Links to an external site.).

The academic requirements are a Bachelor´s degree of at least 180 credits/or an equivalent degree and advanced proficiency in the English language (Links to an external site.) Links to an external site.. In order for your application to be processed, you must submit supporting documentation (Links to an external site.) Links to an external site. of your previous studies and your English language proficiency.

Selection is based on previous academic performance, previous employment within the field of Medical Science and the Medical Science Profile Portfolio. 

Students who are citizens of countries outside the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland are generally required to pay application and tuition feesLinks to an external site.

Students applying for studies at Lund University can apply for scholarships.
