TBA
You should be connected to zoom via a camera during the entire exam. The camera should be directed towards your face. After the exam closes you should use the camera on your mobile phone to take pictures of your solutions. The most convenient scenario is that you use your laptop/desktop to display the exam problems. The camera on this device should be pointing at you during the entire exam. In addition, you will need a smartphone or tablet with a camera that you use for taking photographs or your solution and also as a backup zoom device.
Install a scanner app, e.g., CamScanner or Genius Scan, on your phone/tablet and practice using it before the exam. The scanner app should be able to generate a single PDF file from all your photos. This PDF file you should later upload to Canvas. Before the exam, you should make sure that you know how to upload files to Canvas.
Make sure that you have chargers connected both to your phone and your computer during the exam.
We will not record the exam.
Any material and equipment is allowed (including textbooks, slides, exercise solutions, Matlab, . . . ) but no collaboration or help from anybody else. Talking is not allowed during the entire exam.
Some problems may be possible to solve using Matlab. However, we require that you present the complete logical solution on paper (giving only the Matlab commands and the final answer is not OK).
