Simple tips on how to create an accessible document

A small checklist

 

Checklista 1.png Use a font size of at least 12
Checklista 2.png Make sure that there is enough contrast between the text and background
Checklista 3.png Create headings by using your chosen software's formatting features
Make sure that the headings follow a logical system and are easy to follow
Images should have an alternative description that explain the meaning of the image
Tables should be used primarily for data
Tables should always contain an introductory and descriptive column

Lists (such as bullet point lists) should be made using the system's inbuilt function

Checklista 9.png Make sure that all links are descriptive so that you understand where the link leads
Use existing PowerPoint templates
Checklista 12.png Make sure that all PDFs are tagged
