How to Find and Borrow Books
Library card
In order to borrow books at the libraries, you will need an LU card and a library account. You can get your LU card at the University Library, the LTH Study Centre or Juridicum (more information is available on the LU card website ). The LU card works as a library card for all 26 libraries at Lund University and you can also use it for entering our computer rooms and logging on to our copying machines. We also share the same library catalogue, LUBcat. To apply for a library account, you need to log in to LUBcat once. Once you have done this, visit a library desk in one of our libraries with your letter of acceptance, your passport, and your LU card to activate it as a library card.
LUBcat
LUBcat is the shared catalogue for the 26 libraries at Lund University. Here you find all your course literature. On the following page we show you in a video how to use the catalogue and how to differentiate between our different categories of books at the HT Libraries.
