Welcome to the HT Libraries!

At Lund University there is a network of 26 libraries. The University Library's main responsibilities are keeping everything ever printed in Sweden and taking care of the 26 libraries' shared systems. The other 25 libraries are closely connected to the faculties and institutes at the University and specialized in the subjects taught and reserached there. We give support to both students, researchers and teachers.

The Libraries at the Joint Faculties of Humanities and Theology (or inofficially short "the HT Libraries") consist of three physical units:

  • the Asia Library
  • the LUX Library
  • the SOL Library

On our website you can find links to the most important library catalogues, information about our premises, about how to print/copy, about how to search and borrow books and other materials. We also have a whole section with information for students. Besides all that you can find out more about who to ask questions about finding literature on your subject.

At the HT Libraries we have a subject librarian for each subject. They create and manage our subject guides: collections of important sources within each subject, that can be a useful starting point when looking for relevant materials and resources. The subject guides include links to databases, journals or e-books, but they may also cover topics such as plagiarism and referencing.
