Get a transcript of records

We do not print, sign and send hard copies of academic transcripts by post unless specifically requested by your home university. We instead ask you to download a verifiable digital copy of your transcript yourself via the Student Portal and share it with your home university.

How to download your transcript

  1. Log on to the Student Portal with your Student account -  student.lu.se/en

  2. Click on ”Ladok (via Student Portal)”

  3. Go to "Ladok"

  4. Choose English as the language and click ”Transcript and certificates”

  5. Under "Select certificate type", select ”Official transcript of records” and click "create".

How to verify your transcript

1. Go to https://www.student.ladok.se/verifiera/ Links to an external site.

2. Fill in the personal identity number (personnummer) and control code (kontrollnummer) stated at the bottom of the transcript.

3. Click ”Hämta”. This will download the transcript in PDF format.

Your transcript (result certificate) will be verifiable by your home university for 3 months from the date you download it.

We will send information regarding this separately to your home university. If your home university does not accept the verifiable digital transcript, we will send a hard copy upon request by your coordinator.

Get your documents signed

If you are an Erasumus student, we are happy to help you with your Online Learning Agreement, please remember to send the link to us well in advance. You can also send other documents (like Departure Certificate, Learning Agreement etc.) to one of your coordinators as PDF-file by email to get help.

Notify the Swedish Tax Agency of your departure from Sweden

If you move abroad from Sweden and plan to stay away for a year or longer, you shall no longer be registered in Sweden. In such cases, you must notify the Swedish Tax Agency that you are moving abroad at least one week before departure. If you forget to submit the notification on time, you should send it as soon as possible. You will find the form SKV 7665b (Notification, Moving Abroad) for download at www.skatteverket.se. Please fill in as much information as possible, as it will ease the handling of your notification.

If you move back to Sweden for further studies, work or other reasons you should
again notify the Swedish Tax Agency. You should then use your personal identification number that you received the first time you registered in Sweden.
You can find more information on their website: www.skatteverket.se Links to an external site..

Sustainable Lund: sell, donate or recycle your belongings

Sustainable living is a mind-set, and you can always think twice before you throw something away: could it be reused for another purpose or by someone else?  Circle Center is a student initiative where you can donate stuff that Circle Center lets other students borrow from their ‘library’.

Learn more about Circle Center at their website Links to an external site.

You can donate belongings to charity, for example to Erikshjälpen.

Find opening hours at the Erikshjälpen City website Links to an external site. (Stora Södergatan 25, stock entrance on Lilla Södergatan 18)

If there are things that you don’t want to bring with you and that you can’t donate or sell, make sure to place it in the correct recycling bin. The environment will be grateful!

Prepare your accommodation for the handover

If you got your room via LU Accommodation, please check the departure check list.

Keep in mind that the final cleaning of a room needs to be thorough and therefore always tends to take more time than you anticipate.
