We all need to be aware of our climate impact. As an exchange student, you can reduce your carbon footprint by being a more sustainable traveler!

Lund University is based in the city of Lund, close to Malmö (Sweden’s third largest city) in the south of Sweden. This part of Sweden is very close to Copenhagen in Denmark. The main campus buildings of Lund University are located in the centre of Lund and are only a short walk from the Lund railway station.

By train

Rail transport is the most environment-friendly way to travel. It is not only cheaper, but also reduces carbon emissions and limits pollution. You also have the opportunity to see even more of Sweden on your way!

From Lund it takes only 15 minutes by train to Malmö. Malmö Central Station in turn, is connected to several different destinations across Europe, such as Berlin, Oslo, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Ghent, Zürich, Milano and Madrid.

Snälltåget's night train from Malmö to Berlin is very popular, and a new line Stockholm–Malmö–Copenhagen–Hamburg–Berlin.
