Arrival Day

All international students are recommended to arrive in Lund on the official Arrival Day. During Arrival Day, international mentors and university staff will welcome you and help you settle into your new life in Lund and Sweden.

Arrival Day services during operating hours include:

Being met at Copenhagen Airport.
Being met at Lund Central Station.
Shuttle service to the arrival venue from Lund Central Station.

The general services at the Arrival Day venue include among other things:

Receive information about the Orientation Weeks
IT Help and Support
Get checked in to our Arrival Day database
Meet the International Desk to get practical non-academic matters sorted out
If you received confirmed housing from LU Accommodation (LUAcc) or AF Bostäder you will be able to pick up your keys on Arrival Day.
BoPoolen will be available to assist students who have not found accommodation.

If you have to arrive later

You must inform your coordinator about it as early as possible.
If you arrive later than the Arrival Day opening hours and have a confirmed room from LU Accommodation or AF Bostäder, you will have to collect your keys the next day and organise other accommodation for your first night.
You should also make a visit to the International Desk during their opening hours to check in and receive your welcome package.
