LUBsearch - The collected interface for resources of the University libraries
LUBsearch is the entry point to most of the University libraries’ collective resources, both electronic and printed. It consists of three sections with different advantages: Discovery, Databases A-Z and ePublications
Note that when you search in LUBsearch you do not search in all of the databases you have access to through the university. So you may need to go directly to a specific database. You find all databases in Databases A-Z. This is the case when it comes to for example finance databases, statistics databases and databases for Swedish news- and magazine articles.
Discovery
Through a single search field you can find articles, journals, doctoral theses, books and e-books. If you are outside the University campus, log in with your Lucat-ID to access full texts and e-books.
Use “Advanced search” to combine several different subsearches in different fields to create a more complex search. You can combine several terms with OR within a field and then combine that field with another one using AND. Read more about searching in LUBSearch, how to save searches and use search history, which content are included etc. in the libguide for LUBSearch & Electronic resources
If you want to do a deeper and more systematic search on a specific subject we recommend that you use a subject-specific database, since these databases offer refined search possibilities and specialized subject terms.
Databases A-Z
LUBSearch contains a large part of the database content owned by Lund University. Databases covered by LUBSearch are marked with a LUBSearch symbol in the list. To search for a specific database use the database list A-Z, where you find access to all our databases. There is also a possibility to search for databases within a specific subject, you find this option under “Subject”, if you choose “Business & Economics” you will find examples of databases suitable for all departments within LUSEM.
ePublications
Use ePublications if you want to limit your search to e-books and journals. ePublications is a search tool where you can find links to all the e-journals and e-books Lund University libraries are subscribing to.
