Present - Share your screen
You can easily share material with your students during the meeting by sharing your screen. For most of you this will ental sharing a PowerPoint or something from a website, but there is a possibility to show a range of different programmes. Just make sure that you open it up before you start your presentation. The same applies for your power point presentation, which you can open in Presentation mode.
To share your screen, follow these steps:
- Click on the display icon located on the bottom right of your meeting screen
- Choose whether you would like to share you entire screen (hela skärmen), a program you have opened such as PowerPoint (Appfönster) or a tab in your browser (webbläsarflik).
- Click on dela to share.
In the example above we have chosen to open a PowerPoint presentation. This is a practical way of sharing your PowerPoint presentation without for example sharing the content on your desktop. If you however are planning to jump between different programmes and browsers, it might be a better option to choose showing your entire screen (hela skärmen).
Mute All Users Except Presenter
When you presenting it can be a good idea to mute all other users. They might for example not be aware that their microphone is on and sometimes this can disrupt the experience for the other participants. To mute all users please follow the following steps:
1. Go to the settings icon located to the right of the list of participants
2. Choose Mute all users except presenter.
Stop Sharing
Once you have completed your session you can stop sharing your screen with the participants by clicking Sluta dela.
