As host in a meeting, you can edit and add Polls and Quizzes during a meeting to get direct feedback from meeting participants or vote on a particular issue.
It is possible to create a total of 50 different polls for one and the same Zoom meeting, where each poll can contain a maximum of 10 questions.
You can create polls both before and during a meeting, and a poll can also be reused several times.
Co host can only start polls.

Create a poll in advance

Poll questions can be created in advance before the meeting or during the session. Keep your Zoom client updated for best performance.

Sign in to https://lu-se.zoom.us
In the navigation menu, click Surveys.
Click the Polls/Quizzes tab.
Click + Create.
Choose Poll or quiz and then Create
Click the title Untitled Poll... to give the poll a name.
Click on the question area to edit the following information:
- Single choice: Participants in the poll can only choose one of the given answers.
- Multiple choice: Participants in the poll can choose more than one of the given answers.
- Click the Untitled Question area to edit the name of that question.
- Click the drop-down box to the right of the name of the poll question to select the type of question
- Click in the empty box for each option to enter an answer for participants to choose from.
- Click + Add Options to add additional response options.
(Optional) Click the Create Breakout Rooms toggle if you want to enable breakout room creation based on poll results.
(Optional) Click + Add Question to add another question to the poll.
(Optional) Click gear icon at the top right to configure the option Require answers to be anonymous.
(Optional) Click the preview icon to see a preview.
(Optional) Click Save to allow the poll to be started during meetings.

Create a poll in an ongoing meeting

Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
Start a meeting as the host.
In the meeting controls, click Polls/Quizzes .
Do one of the following:
- Click Create if there are no polls created yet.
- In the top-right corner, click the plus icon to add more polls to the existing ones.
Click the title Untitled Poll... to give the poll a name.
Click on the question area to edit the question title and select the question type.
(Optional) Click the Create Breakout Rooms toggle if you want to enable breakout room creation based on poll results.
(Optional) Click + Add Question to add another question to the poll.
(Optional) Click the ellipses at the bottom left of the creation window, then click Settings to set the option Require answers to be anonymous
(Optional) Click the ellipses at the bottom left of the creation window, then click Preview see a preview.
Click Save to allow the poll to be started during meetings.

Launch a poll in a meeting

Polls are not immediately available to meeting participants, as the host needs to launch a poll for participants to respond to. Hosts can create polls before or during a meeting.

During the meeting, all questions under a single poll will be asked when launched. You can create additional polls to ask questions at different times during the meeting.

Start the scheduled Zoom meeting.
In the meeting controls, click Polls/Quizzes .
In the Polls/Quizzes window, click the name of the poll to open the details.
(Optional) Before launching, click the ellipses icon and then click Edit if you want to modify questions and answers to the poll, then click Save.
Click Launch.
The participants in the meeting will now be prompted to answer the polling questions. The host will be able to see the results live.
Once you would like to stop the poll, click End Poll.
Click the ellipses icon to access the following options:
- Re-launch Poll: Launches the poll again.
  Note: If a poll is relaunched in a meeting, the poll report will only display the last poll occurrence. If you know you will need to launch the same poll twice and want both sets of data, consider creating a second poll with the same questions as the original to avoid relaunching.
- Download Results: This will launch your default web browser so that you can download the entire poll report, which shows what each participant chose, instead of the percentages of each choice.
- View Results from Browser: Launches your default web browser and displays the same polling results on the web page.
Click Share Results to share the results with the participants in the meeting, then click Stop Sharing when needed.

Create a quiz in advance

Sign in at https://lu-se.zoom.us
In the navigation menu, click Surveys.
Klick the Polls/Quizzes tab.
Click + Create.
A poll will be created by default. Click the toggle next to Make it a quiz at the top right to switch to quiz.
Click the title Untitled Poll... to give the quiz a name.
Name and select the question type for the first question.
Click Please set answer, select a correct answer, then click Done.
(Optional) Click the Create Breakout Rooms toggle if you want to enable breakout room creation based on quiz results.
(Optional) Click + Add Question to add another question to the quiz.
(Optional) Click gear icon at the top right for the option Require answers to be anonymous.
(Optional) Click the preview icon to see a preview.
(Optional) Click the ellipses icon at the top right to Save as draft.
(Optional) Click Save to allow the quiz to be started during meetings.

Create a quiz in an ongoing meeting

Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
Start a meeting as the host.
In the meeting controls, click Polls/Quizzes .
Do one of the following:

Display questions in a random order: Questions and the results will be shown in a random order.
Show one question at a time: View of questions and their results are shown one at a time.

Click Launch.
The participants in the meeting will now be prompted to answer the quiz questions. The host will be able to see the results live.
Once you would like to stop the quiz, click End Poll.
Click Share Results to share the results with the participants in the meeting.
(Optional) Select the check box next to Show correct answers to all if you want to display the quiz answers to participants.
Click Stop Sharing when needed.
