Activate Conference in the course menue

In order to make the function Conference visible for your students you might need to activate it in the course menu. You can see if it is active or hidden by the eye icon to the left. 

The image above shows a hidden Conference. Good if you are not using it, really bad if you want to use it. 

Activate Conference in Settings

Go to Settings at the bottom of your course menu (1) 

 

In Settings 

1. Choose the tab Navigation 
   Here you can see a column divided in two parts. The upper part mirrors the visible menu items in your course navigation and the lower the hidden. 
   
2. Find Conferences in the lower part of the column. Drag and drop this menu item to
3. the upper column. 
4. Do not forget to SAVE (At the bottom, not displayed in image). 

 

When this is done you will notice that the eye icon next to the conference menu item has disappeared.
