General Information

To prepare for the lab read the manual and do the preparatory exercises.

The exercises in this laboratory session should be made in JGrafchart. JGrafchart is available on our lab computers and is started from a terminal with the command JGrafchart .

To run JGrafchart on your personal computer you first download it and unpack it after which you should follow the instructions in the included README.txt. In case you get an error like Error: Could not find or load main class... it might be a problem with spaces in the path, and you can try to place it somewhere without spaces to fix it.

In order to use the simulated environment:

Load the BeadSorterSim.xml and your beadsorter.xml into JGrafchart.
Compile both.
Go to Edit/Application Properties of the beadsorter.xml and check the Simulator mode check box.
Run both.
Now the controller is running in simulation mode.
To change the value of the Tilt sensor you simply click on it.
