Information about the exam
The exam will be a take-home exam given as an assignment in Canvas. The exam starts at 8.00 and your solutions must be uploaded in Canvas at 14.00 (Swedish time).
Note that you don't need to register for the exam as long as you are registered as a student for this course in Canvas. The registration page in Ladok is open for former students who are not following the course in Canvas.
As usual, cooperation is strictly forbidden and the only allowed aid is the list of formulas Download formulas. The oral exam may contain follow-up questions on the written exam. Suspected cheating will be reported.
You must upload your solutions as a pdf file, other file types will NOT be considered. You can for example use LaTeX or Word to produce the pdf file, but you can also write by hand and either scan your papers into a pdf file or take photos and save them as one pdf file. (For iPhones you select the pictures, choose "Share", choose "Print" and then "pinch and zoom" to join the pictures into a pdf file to upload. See e.g. the following link Links to an external site. for more information. For Android there is for example Google Drive.)
If you prefer to write your solutions in LaTeX, you can use this template Download template. If you prefer writing by hand, you have to write VERY legibly since copying does not improve the quality.
Please write the solution to AT MOST ONE PROBLEM ON EACH PAGE.
If you have any question you can mail me during the exam, I will regularly answer the questions.
IMPORTANT: Remember to state your name and personal identification number in your document.
The exams are graded in Canvas and this expected to be finished by Tuesday, June 2, at 12.00 (I will let you know if I finish earlier).
The oral exams take place in Zoom during the period June 5-12. You may only take the oral exam if you pass the take-home exam. Please write your preferences (day and AM/PM) on the first page of your solutions. You can also send them to me by e-mail.
For this, you should have a pad of plain white paper, a thick black felt pen, a well-lit place, and a reasonable mobile phone or laptop camera with which to run the Zoom. An iPad or other tablet that you can write on is also an acceptable solution, but you need to be visible so that I can see that "you are you".
