Exercise 7 - computer exercise

On your computer, go to the LU-PZE page: https://lu-pze.github.io/ Links to an external site.

The main screen for LU-PZE is shown in the figure below. In this window, you can explore how different topics of automatic control are related, such as poles, step responses, Bode plots, and Nyquist diagrams. If you want to help us improve LU-PZE and contribute to a study, press the "Take the initial quiz" button to the right before you start with the computer exercise. 

Press the assignments icon (clipboard) at the top right corner to get started with the tasks for the computer exercise.

You can also complete the tasks in your exercise compendium - chapter 9 from the main window in LU-PZE. Below are some guides for the exercises if you need help with the software.

  • Press the circles beside the transfer functions to show/hide systems. Compare with the transfer function in the exercise compendium and select the correct one.
  • If you press the + sign in the top right corner, you get the transfer function for problem 9.2c.
  • You can change the parameter values with the sliders or write a value next to the slider.
  • You can drag all the curves in the plots.
