Apply for your degree certificate

Once you have completed your studies at Lund University, you can apply for your degree certificate. The degree certificate is issued upon your request by the Degree Office.

If you have the intention to apply to a programme on a Master's level it is important to apply for your degree certificate as soon as possible. The processing time may vary depending on our workload and the nature of your application. The current processing time is approximately ten weeks.

To be eligible for a Swedish Master's programme you must have a Bachelor's Degree.

For a an undergraduate degree (first cycle) you need to have completed 1-90 ECTS within a major, including the thesis work for your Bachelor's Degree. In addition you also need 90 credits of completed courses. This means that you must have studied and completed 180 credits in total.

For postgraduate degrees (second cycle) you need to have completed 60 ECTS for a Master's Degree (1 year), and 120 ECTS for a Master's Degree (2 years).
