Welcome to the Labs and Seminaries

Seminaries: In the seminaries you will be able to discuss and present literature related to the course. Seminarium 1 is about ethic and values in AI. Seminarium 2 is about AI models and how it relates to psychological phenomena.

 

Labs: In the labs you will get practical experience with psychology and AI methods. Lab 1 gives you practical understand of how a simple neural network works. Lab 2 is about natural language processing where you will learn how to quantitative languages in psychological experiments. Lab 3 is about psychological phenomena in text and image generative AI. 

 

Mandatory attendance: Labs and seminaries are mandatory to attend. Attendance and communication regarding the labs can be found in the Course Sheet. Attendance: Remember to always fill in your attendance of the labs and seminarium in the Course Sheet. 

 

Grades and credits. Labs and seminarians are graded as pass or fail. To get a pass you need to attend all labs and seminaries and do the choirs specified in the instructions to the labes (e.g., run simulations, write and present reports). The labs and seminaries do not give you any ECT points, however, you need to pass all of them to get final grade in the course.

 

What happens if i can not attend. If you fail to attend the seminar you still need to do all the choirs specified in the instructions. In addition you need to write a one page summary of what you have have done. Write this in a Google Doc document, and provide a link to this in the Course Sheet.
