Examination

The examination for MATA22 Linear Algebra 1 consists of the following parts:

  • 3 compulsory group assignments (1.5 credits)
  • written examination (6 credits)

The written examination consists of 6 problems, each graded on a scale of 0-5 points, regardless of difficulty level. To pass the written examination, you need to obtain at least 15 of 30 possible points.

The grading scale for both the written examination and the assignments is Fail/Pass. The grading scale of the course is Fail/Pass/Pass with distinction. To obtain the grade Pass with Distinction it is required that you obtain at least 75% of the points on the written examination and complete the assignments in a satisfactory manner.
