The libraries

The Medical faculty library has two units. The library in Lund is located at Forum Medicum (BMC) and in Malmö at the Clinical Research Centre (CRC). Opening hours and contact information can be found at the Medical Faculty Library's website.

Library card

To be able to borrow books at the libraries at Lund University, you need a LU-card and need to sign up for a library account in our library catalogue LUBcat.

Go to one of the LU card offices to get your LU Card (library card). Bring your photo ID.
Register for a Library account in the library catalogue LUBcat under Register new account. Log in with your student account and choose your home library and category, student medicine, to activate your library account.

Print, photocopy and scan

Our printers are connected to the Lund University printing system Papercut. In order to start printing, copying or scanning you have to activate your printing account and either connect a credit card or prepay with vouchers that can be bought at the libraries. Access card

As a student at the Medical Faculty you are able access the library outside of our staffed opening hours with your LU card. Learn more what applies for the different locations at the Student web - Access card.
