Academic writing

During your studies you will conduct several written assignments, papers and theses. Characteristics of academic writing include a formal tone, use of the third-person rather than first-person perspective a clear focus on the research problem, and precise word choice. You should also cite and refer to your sources correctly. When writing, you should find your own academic style, your own voice, and structure your scientific text according to accepted standards.
