Find similar papers to your collection

To find new papers that are similar to the papers in this collection, first click the collection in research rabbit, then click the button "Similar Work" on the Explore Papers panel to the right:

Research rabbit explore papers panel

You will now get a list of suggestions of similar papers. There will also be a graph showing the papers in relation to each other based on citations (green are papers from your collection, blue are new papers).

TIP: If you are unhappy with the suggestions, one reason could be that your original collection contains too many papers, or papers that are too different from each other. Try selecting fewer (5-7) papers from your original collection to re-do the analysis. Tick the small box on the upper left of the papers you want to include (be careful so that you don't click the red X and remove the paper...). Then redo the analysis (Explore papers > Similar Work). Alternatively, create a new collection with fewer papers that are more on focus.

If you are specifically interested in newer work, select "Later Work" instead of "Similar Work" in the Explore Papers panel. However, depending on your original set of papers, this option will not always be available.

There are many options in Research Rabbit to further investigate and find new papers, feel free to explore!

Visualize references or citations

If you select only one paper, you will get the option to show either the references or the citations in a graph:

Explore papers visualize all references graph

To look at the references can be particularly useful if you are looking at a review paper and quickly want to get an overview over the research within the subject. To look at the citations can be particularly useful if you have found one specific paper that are spot on your subject and you want to see what other studies that have found this information useful.

Adding new papers to your collection

Whenever you find a new paper that you want to include in your collection, click on it in the result list or in the graph, and select "Add to collection" in the menu on the far right:
