Word: bibliography format

Change formatting of the bibliography/reference list

You can change the font or text size of the bibliography as you like, but while the document is linked to Zotero, all other formatting will be automated. If you want to customize the look of the bibliography (e.g. row spacing & indent), there are two ways to do it:

1. Do it at the very end when you are finished with your text. Click "Unlink citation" in Word and then change the look of the bibliography however you want. NB, this will cut the link to Zotero and you will not be able to add or update any more citations (unless you do it manually).

2. Go to Zotero Preferences > Cite > Style Editor. Here you can find the CSL style code for the reference style. To edit the code, it it recommended that you use the CSL Visual Editor Links to an external site.. NB, this is for advanced users familiar with coding!

Ps. Some parts of the formatting that is a part of the reference style APA 7th edition (e.g. italics, punctuation) are important to keep, don't change this!
