Organize your library: tags

Tags

References can be assigned tags that you can name whatever you want. You can assign as many tags that you need to a reference. Tags are added or removed in the Tags tab of any item in the right-hand pane.

The tag selector window at the bottom left can be used to show all references with the same tag. Use the filter box at the bottom of the tag selector to search for a certain tag. Click the tag to view all references with that tag. To go back to viewing all the tags in the collection, de-select the tag by clicking it again.

Color tags

Up to 9 tags can be assigned colors. Colored tags are readily visible in the item list and can be quickly added or removed using the number keys on your keyboard.

Add color tags to references

  1. Go to My Library.
  2. Assign the tag "Read" to one reference (Click the +/Add button in the Tags-tab on the right hand side).
  3. Right-click the Read-tag in the tag selector at the bottom left and select "Assign Color..."
  4. Select a color of your choosing, note the Position number to the right of the color. If it is your first color tag, it will be 1.
  5. Click "Set Color".
  6. Go to My Library.
  7. Select a reference and click 1 on the keyboard, it should get a colored dot next to the title. Try it for a few more references.
  8. To remove the colored dot, click 1 again.

You can use color tags to for example easily mark which references you should read, which you have already read, or which are your favorites.
