Hand-in 3: Gender Dimensions
Home Assignment 3: Gender Dimensions: Knowledge production, situated knowledge and agential realism (Deadline May 1, 2023).
1) From the literature, pick a study or discussion on a subject that you are particularly interested in (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, Engineering ....) and discuss how a gender perspective can be important.
2) Briefly describe and discuss the concepts of situated knowledge (Haraway 1988) and agential realism (Barad 2007), with fellow science or engineering students as the target of your text. If you (like me) think that the original work is too complex, use the articles discussing them from the COST action on new materialism.
The answers should be uploaded here.
