Course syllabus

MATB22 Linear Algebra 2 is a compulsory course for a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and in physics. It covers matrices, linear and Euclidean spaces, linear transformations, determinants, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, the spectral theorem, quadratic surfaces and forms.

Teaching
The teaching consists of lectures, seminars and a project. The nature of the project depends on the specialisation: It can be a theoretical presentation of some part of the course contents or an assignment consisting of computer exercises.

Assessment
The module is assessed through a written examination and the project mentioned above.
