Lab 3 - Modeling and controlling a quadcopter

  • Due Dec 16, 2022 by 11:59pm
  • Points 1
  • Submitting a file upload
  • Available after Nov 16, 2022 at 12am

In this lab you will first be tasked with identifying parameters of a simulated quadcopter using open loop experiments. Using these parameters, you will then design a controller for the quadcopter that can compensate for an external disturbance.

The instructions can be found here: lab3manual.pdf Download lab3manual.pdf

and the code can be found here: lab3_code.zip Download lab3_code.zip

Important: The simulink models are designed using Matlab 2020a, and there are some known issues for too old Matlab versions. If you run into any problems when running the models, we recommend that you upgrade to a more recent Matlab version.

To pass the lab: Write a brief report covering the 6 tasks in the instructions and hand in on canvas. You are allowed to cooperate on this assignment, but you should hand in individual reports, and should be able to explain your results.
