Set design for question group

The design menu lets you decide how the question group will appear to students taking the test. 

NB: The settings you choose here can be changed later on in the test settings, by whoever is creating the test session.

Click Design (1) at the bottom of the page to open the design menu.

  • Numbering scheme: Choose how questions are numbered in the test, sequential or by section.
  • Hide navigation bar: Hides the bar informing student which question they are on and how many are completed/remaining.
  • Disable navigate back button: Keeps students from going back to already answered questions.
  • Table of contents: Gives students access to an overview of the test content.
  • Hide question titles: Hides the names you have given your questions from students.
  • Show sections in table of contents: Does just that.
  • Enable flagging: Allow students to "flag" questions, e.g. if they want to return to it later.
  • Question maximum marks: Show students the maximum marks possible for each question.
  • Show interaction accessibility guide: Activates help function inside of the test to help students navigate.
  • Show progress indicator: Shows a small progress indicator next to the navigation buttons.
  • Show warning when navigating away from pages with incomplete responses: Helps students to avoid leaving questions blank by mistake.
  • Highlight next button when responses are completed: Does just that.

The design menu contains a summary of all questions, total amount of points, a drop-down menu and a long list of checkboxes.
