Create/edit sections

You have the possibility to create sections in tests, where the sections can have different content and settings. Perhaps you want one section with essay questions, and one sections where students get to answer a random selection of multiple choice questions. Using sections also allow you to automatically number your questions 1 a-c, 2 a-g and so on. 

Click where it says Section 1 (1) to name your section. Add another section by clicking New section (2).

Add questions to your sections as ususal, see previous pages of this guide for help. I you want to have a section where Inspera randomly selects a number of questions from a group, the different questions needs to be worth an equal amount of points.

The different options (1) for each section are available under the section title. If you want to randomly select a number of questions, or just randomize the order, click on the Crossed arrows (2).

In the pop-up menu you can choose to have no randomization (1), randomized order (2) or you can select to randomly pull a number of questions from this section (3). Click on "Learn more" next to each option for more information. 

Click Done (4) when you are finished.
