Edit question - Automatically marked
The question editor looks a bit different depending on which question type you selected, but a lot is similar for all questions. Here you will see how to edit an automatically marked question (multiple choice).
Start by Naming your question (1). Later on, you can select if you want to show or hide the names of the questions for students taking the test.
Write your test question in the editor by clicking where it says Replace with your question text (2).
Click in the box with alternatives (1) to edit them. The alternative marked with a green dot (2) is the correct answer to the question.
Click the X (1) to remove an alternative, and the plus sign (2) to add another.
In this view you can edit the information students get when answering the question by clicking on Prompt (1).
Under Options (2) you can choose to show alternatives in Random order (3).
Here you can also set an upper/lower mark limit, used for questions with several parts. See the Inspera guide for more information:

Click Close (4) when you are done.
Once you created the question and the alternatives, it is time to assign marks. In the menu on the right (1) you can choose how many points a correct answer is awarded, deduct for a wrong answer, marks for unanswered, bonus points if all answers are correct and finally if the question should have a minimum mark.
This menu also contains three other options. Main illustration (1) allows you to upload an image, shown along with the question. PDF panel (2) lets you upload a PDF available to students taking the question. Labels (3) are for tagging your questions, they are only shown internally and can help you manage your question bank.
Before clicking Save (1), take a moment to preview the question by clicking on the eye (2). This shows you how the question will appear to your students. You can also try answering it, in order to make sure that the marking works as intended.
