Lock modules to a specified date and time

When a module is set on a specified date/time and published, students can see its name and headings on published material inside the module, but they can not open any of the material. If they click on a heading, a short information text will appear stating that the material is locked and will be opened at the specified date and time.

You can set a date and time when a module should be unlocked for students.

Click on the Module menu and select Edit. 

 

 

Then activate Lock and fill in the desired date and time for the module to unlock. Click the Update module button.

The student will now be able to see a preview of the content of the module and when it will open:
