Tables

Latest revision: 2022-01-24

A good basic rule for tables is to only use them for content that is best shown in a table, not just for layout purposes, this is because tables can be tricky to read e.g. in an app.

You can draw a table directly in the text editor via the tab “Table”. If you then choose the option Table a grid will show where you can quickly make and inset your table. You can add more rows/columns later.

Remeber to add a row and/or column for the categories.

Insert table.

After you’ve filled in the table with your content you can add a name for the table (“Table over capitals” in the example below) and headers (“Country”, “Capital”, “Number of inhabitants”), you do this in the accessibility checker at the bottom of the text editor (se image below). This way you’ll automatically get the option to add a name and mark the headers.
