Adjust the course navigation

Think over which items should be visible for the students in the course navigation; e.g. if Modules isn’t a visible item the students will not be able to access them at all.
To edit the course navigation go to “Settings” and choose the tab “Navigation”. Here you can choose which items should be visible for the students and in what order. You change the course navigation by drag and drop, alternatively by clicking on the three dots to the right of the item.
A tip: if you move the cursor over a crossed out eye, you can easily see why the item doesn’t show for the students. As teacher you can always click on the items even though they’re hidden for the students.
In the course’s settings under the tab “Navigation” you’ve the possibility to adjust which parts of the course navigation that will be visible for the students and in what order.
- “Modules” is shown without a crossed out eye next to it, it’s visible to the students
- ”Pages” and "Files" are shown with a crossed out eye nest to it, it isn’t visible accessible nor visible for the students, but teacher have access to them.
- "Announcements" is shown with a crossed out eye next to it, that’s because no announcements have been posted yet. As soon as an announcement is made "Announcements” will be visible to the students.
- These items are visible to the students
- These items aren’t visible to the students.
Note! Don’t forget to press “Save” or your changes will gone!
