Understand the course navigation

Latest revision: 2022-01-24

Background

The students at the different universities mentioned that it was hard to navigate Canvas. Canvas is a system that allows for great liberties to select the buttons that will be visible in the course navigation, but it becomes confusing for the students when one course differs from the next.

Object

The overview below is thought of as a support for all teachers in a program so that the program’s courses gets a similar structure which helps the students. It is a good idea that you take notes on what you’ve agreed on which items in the course navigation should be visible to the students and in what order. Read more on the page Adjust the course navigation on how you change which items will be visible for the students
