Plan and build your course

Before you start building your course in Canvas please consider the following questions:

• Who do you build your course for (for the teacher/student)?
• What would you want to achieve? 
• Which aims?
• Which examinations? 
• What kind of teaching elements can you use?
• What is the experience you would like to present?

When you're clear about what your course should contain, then you can begin to sketch how the course should be designed. An important aspect is to think about how your course could be lucid and easy to navigate, a concrete measure is to adjust the course navigation for the course. In this module, we'll show you how to use the Course navigation, Modules and Pages in Canvas to give your course a lucid structure so that the students quickly can find what they need.
