Support your students

Communicate with your students and make sure you explain to them that Canvas is a new teaching and learning environment here at Lund University - that the learning platform is new both for you as well as for them. Have a dialoge on how you intend to:

Communicate and interact throughout the course
How you intend for them to access the learning material
What your thoughts are on assignments and how they will access the feedback
The Usage of Calendar
How group activities are carried out etc.

In order to support your students, there are functions and resources under help - you will find them here:

Choose help in the global (green) menu - here you will find both
Ask your instructor a question - this will generate a mail from the student to you as an instructor.
The student guide (Att använda Canvas| Using Canvas) - this is written in both english and swedish.

If you are unsure what your students will experience you can use the student view to check your Course. You can also involve a student, a fellow teacher or someone from the Canvas team to take a lock at your course.
